Andolini Modern Italian Market is looking for an inspired Head Chef to join our growing team. We are a newer establishment that deals in house baked goods, breads, desserts, with full kitchen capabilities for dine in, take out, and catering.
**Responsibilities Include**:
- **Salary is based on expierence**_
**Opportunity to run and manage your own kitchen. Have the comfort of an established menu and recipes but the autonomy for creative control for aspiring head chefs, or head chef looking for new beginnings.**
**Supervise and inspect all preparation and cooking equipment on a regular basis to ensure that they are kept clean, sanitary, and in perfect operating order**
**Ensure that food products, presentation, and plating are of the highest quality, and are prepared to serve in a timely manner**
**Experience in Pizza making**
**Hand Stretching Neapolitan Style Dough**
**Mixing Dough**
**Portioning**
**Balling Dough**
**Maintaining Clean Work Station and Sterilize Equipment**
**Following Established Recipes and Implementing of New Recipes**
**Food Preparation**
**Slicing Meats**
**Monitor Stock**
**Limiting Food Waste**
**Handle Food Products In Thoughtful Manner**
**Work with management on food costing, and seasonal forecasting**
**Requirements**:
**Positive Attitude**
**Team Spirit**
**Ability and Openness to Follow Instruction**
**Minimum Two Year Experience**
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: From $70,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
**Experience**:
- Culinary: 2 years (required)
- Pizza Making: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
