**About CWC**

**Major Purpose**:
Under the general direction and supervision of the VP, Communications and Marketing, the Digital Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in enhancing the digital presence and impact of CWC’s programs through strategic management of web and digital assets. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external consultants to meticulously assess and document business/end-user requirements for digital initiatives and the customer journey. The Manager is instrumental in researching, recommending, and managing the implementation of cutting-edge digital solutions. They are tasked with overseeing the development, integration, and optimization of digital tools, including the creation and dissemination of engaging video and graphic content across social media platforms and public web assets. Their mission is to ensure the seamless lifecycle management of digital assets while crafting and executing a dynamic digital marketing strategy that aligns with the organization’s overarching goals and propels objectives forward.

**Accountabilities**:

- Spearhead the development and refinement of CWC's digital communications strategy, ensuring its alignment with the organization's vision and measuring its effectiveness through meticulous implementation and evaluation.
- Lead the development and execution of content plans for CWC Programs' web and digital platforms, with a specific focus on compelling video and visual content that engages target audiences and drives digital engagement.
- Facilitate close collaboration with staff across departments to provide insightful digital content analysis, understand objectives, and deliver tailored digital solutions that meet departmental goals.
- Manage the organization's content calendar for its media channels, focusing on content development, monitoring, analytics, and the strategic dissemination of video and visual content.
- Oversee external consultants, ensuring their tasks align with organizational priorities, and monitor their progress to ensure timely delivery of digital projects.
- Evaluate Digital Communications tools and public web assets, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and audience engagement through innovative video and visual content.
- Serve as the primary liaison for new marketing content requests, streamlining communication between departments and ensuring cohesive digital content strategies.
- Oversee the management of CWC's web asset lifecycle, ensuring all digital platforms remain vibrant, current, and aligned with the organization's digital marketing strategy.
- Direct the creation and maintenance of CWC's media library, emphasizing a rich collection of videos, images, and presentations that support dynamic digital storytelling.
- Ensure compliance with AODA and CASL standards for all public-facing digital communications, including video and visual content.
- Monitor and enhance the protocols and workflows for content population on public-facing websites and social media platforms, focusing on efficiency and the high-quality production of video and visual content.
- Contribute to organizational initiatives aimed at facilitating digital transformation and promoting a culture of digital collaboration, ensuring the successful adaptation to a hybrid work environment.

**Knowledge, Experience, and Skills**:

- Proven technical proficiency, particularly in content management systems (CMS), Adobe Photoshop, video editing software, Microsoft Office 360, and project management tools.
- Advanced education in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in digital marketing, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful video and visual content projects.
- Exceptional adaptability, problem-solving skills, and a creative mindset geared towards digital innovation.
- Skilled in using Google Analytics for web usage monitoring, tracking, and implementing search engine optimization strategies.
- Expertise in online content publishing and management, adhering to Internet standards and best practices for digital content creation.
- Familiarity with Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), and Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) standards.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and maintain high-quality outputs under pressure.

**Language Requirements**:

- Exceptional oral and written communication skills in one or both official languages.
