**Title**: Nursing Project Coordinator, Community and Public Health.
**Salary**: $91,122 - $107,448 per year (pay range explained below).
**Contract**:.5 FTE. Term until June 30, 2024 (Extension of term is possible).
**Hours**: 18.75 hours per week.
**Location**: Sinclair office - Metro Vancouver. 50% Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy. Remote work may be possible.
**Bargaining Unit**: PIPSC BCFNHA Group (Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada).

**About the role**
The Nursing Project Coordinator, Community and Public Health (CPH) is responsible for the implementation, monitoring and completion of specific projects within the CPH program. The position reports to the manager of CPH and ensures that the schedule, budget and details of the project are well organized and in conformance with timeline and deliverables requirement. This role collaborates with others to adhere to project scope and objectives, develops detailed work plans, and provides weekly project status updates. The position anticipates and identifies issues and risks, provides recommendations, and works with clinical leads and management to implement solutions. The position is also responsible for taking the lead in writing any project reports due at the end of the project.

This position promotes and models quality improvement through the development of quality research and other projects that may include education activities and development of resource materials to support community and public health program activities in First Nations communities across BC. The position works collaboratively with the Immunization program and with other teams within the Community and Public Health team as well as working closely with the Surveillance team and CDPPH program. This is to ensure consistency of knowledge transfer through evidence informed best practices, research and education; contributes to positive health outcomes for BC First Nations communities, by working with and supporting nurses, community health workers (CHWs) and communities to meet mandatory immunization and communicable disease (CD) programming requirements. The position provides an expert level of support to FNHA and FNHSO immunizers in relation to immunization programs. This position may also support FNHA and FNHSO considerations at provincial tables.

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have/be
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from recognized college/university or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Master’s Degree in a related field is an asset.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification.
- Current BC Immunization Competency Program Certification.
- 3-5 years of recent related experience working in a Public health environment. Preference given to those with experience working in a First Nations Community Health Centre.
- Experience teaching and presenting to large and small groups of adult learners.
- Experience working with groups to identify and address public health issues specific to Immunization.
- Previous experience with Project management.
