The Accounting Services team is responsible for managing the systems and processes related to all accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounting, payroll treasury, and financial reporting.

**The Role**: As an Accounts Clerk at CLBC, you will be responsible for assisting in the ongoing process of monitoring, assessing, interpreting and highlighting financial practices and policies.

This will include:

- Prepare invoices as required by regional offices and head office and enter invoices into the financial accounting system to ensure accurate recording of revenues and receivables
- Review and recommend internal controls to ensure procedures and mitigating processes are in place, which lead to accurate financial records
- Perform and analyze complex general ledger reconciliations and resolves discrepancies and issues with service providers or agencies
- Review and record reports submitted by agents to ensure that reporting is timely and complete
- Compares and records payments received to invoices recorded, identifies discrepancies

**Qualifications**:

- A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or relevant financial education, with 2 years' or more recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
- Experience analyzing high volumes of information
- Knowledge and experience undertaking accurate analysis and accruals

Term/Status: Temporary with an end date of March 2024
Classification/Salary: FO R18 - Starts at $30.68 per hour
