Dahrouge Geological Consulting Ltd. is a North American mining and mineral exploration consulting company providing professional expertise in geological, exploration, project management and mining operations services. We have offices in Edmonton, Alberta, Montreal, Quebec and Denver, Colorado, to support our operations across North America.

**Position Summary**:
We are seeking a Payroll Consultant to join us on a short-term contract (approximately 3-6 month term) to lead the implementation of a new HRIS and payroll system.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide advice and expertise regarding the implementation of the UKG HRIS and Payroll system
- Analyze company requirements and existing payroll systems to identify integration needs and opportunities for improvement.
- Working with HRIS system consultants/staff to ensure a smooth and timely integration.
- Collaborating with the HR/Payroll team to facilitate set up and integration of company data.
- Documenting integration processes, configurations, and support procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience implementing and using payroll or HRIS systems.
- In depth knowledge of payroll legislation in Alberta is required, Quebec is considered an asset.
- Membership to the National Payroll Institute is considered a strong asset.
- Certification in payroll administration, HRIS, or related fields (optional but preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, and superior attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate in French is an asset but not required.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: From $40.00 per hour
