The Assistant General Manager is responsible for assisting the General manager in all areas of operations of the business, policies, procedures, workflow.

**Responsibilities**
Include working directly with the General Manager and assisting with but not limited to:

- Assist in the creation of strategic plans, procedures and workflow as well as implementation.
- Remain current on programs, services, strategic planning process, and drive efficiencies and sales results.
- Report on efficiencies, expenses, and budget.
- Community outreach to ensure we are exceeding customer expectations.
- Attend training and execute training to employees.
- Participate in board meetings
- Ensure company directives, procedures, and policies are completed on schedule.
- Perform other duties as required

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in business, administration or equivalent education and experience.
- 2-3 relevant years in a comparable role.

Experience working in a mechanical service industry an asset, but not required.

**Required Skills**:

- Management, administration and conflict resolution skills
- Negotiation, mediation, analytical and problem-solving skills; multi-tasking, demonstrated initiative.
- Remain professional and friendly while leading a team by example.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Outlook, Word, Excel. Computer/technology proficient.

Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,500.00 per year

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Business management: 6 years (required)
