**ABOUT THE ROLE**
**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING**
- Maintains awareness of software product enhancements, service solutions, upcoming software releases and patches; recommendations for upgrades and leads the implementation of approved recommendations.
- Leads development of and/or contributes to master data standards for the system.
- Develops and maintains system user manual.
- Assist in the development of relevant maintenance and work management related to key performance metrics for the Branch.
- Develops and/or monitors a common business practices program for use in the Branch, utilizing life cycle asset management systems, reliability centered maintenance (RCM) and total productive maintenance (TPM).
- Aligns the system to support onsite inspections and monitoring of maintenance activities on all water and wastewater related assets, including repairs, modifications, condition monitoring and preventative maintenance programs, to ensure work is consistent with Branch business needs and optimal operation.
- Develops and prepares job plans, preventative maintenance and routes, taking into consideration parts, materials, special tools, internal and external resources and planned costs, based on manufacturers’ recommendations.
- Develops and enhances existing programs to ensure regulatory compliance for asset management and maintenance programs.
- Coordinates or provides training, in conjunction with the Training Officer, to Branch staff; recommends skills training to Team Leads and Supervisors.
- Responds to inquiries, complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Participates in performance metrics planning activities, as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned in accordance with Branch and Departmental objectives.
**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**
- Successful completion of a Community College Diploma in a Computer, Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation or Engineering program or related field or approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum three (3) years experience with responsibilities for maintenance, work management and/or asset management in the water and wastewater field or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience overseeing the successful performance of a multi-site computerized work management system (e.g. Maximo).
