**Key Responsibilities**:
The Controller / Office Manager will work collaboratively with all team members while overseeing various business functions including accounting and supporting the administration team. This is an opportunity for a highly motivated and engaged individual who is eager to grow within this leadership role.
- Oversee all accounting operations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and operating results
- Analyze different business segments to ensure optimum performance
- Provide monthly financial statements comparing actual to forecasted results
- Prepare management reports to support decision making
- Bi-Weekly payroll functions
- Oversee AR/AP (billings, invoices, reconciliations)
- Ensure quality control over all financial transactions
- Inventory tracking and regular volume reports
- Ensure the office functions in a professional manner and is maintained accordingly
- Oversee office staff and scheduling to ensure office is covered each day during working hours
- Support HR functions as required
- Other duties as assigned

**What You Bring to the Team**:

- Degree or diploma in business management, accounting, agri-business management or equivalent is preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant job experience is preferred, such as in agribusiness, AP, AR
- Leadership experience is considered an asset
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a keen analytical approach
- Exemplary communication skills, including written and verbal
- Valid G Class driver’s license
