**The opportunity**:Our Residential Marketing Team is looking for an Internal Communications Intern who will play an integral role in standardizing communication and supporting process improvement for our operations and leasing teams across the Residential portfolio (including 32 properties, and we’re growing).

**What you will do**:
**Communications**

**Process Improvement and Implementation**
- You’ll research and provide recommendations on process improvement for new resident experience, including the facilitation of surveys, with the overall objective of elevating experience, enhancing satisfaction, and measuring results.

**Reporting and Administration**
- You’ll compile and report on data, inputting into tools and templates and supporting with the build of charts, graphs and insight sharing. BentallGreenOak is focused on the roll out and implementation of new tools and technology, and this role will play a supportive role.

**Marketing, Leasing and Operations**
- You’ll join a dynamic marketing, leasing and operations team, which means that tasks and assignments will come up from time-to-time that give you the opportunity to collaborate on:

- promotion and development of the BentallGreenOak brand, ensuring compliance to corporate standards.
- market analyses assisting in the development and execution of strategies to achieve desired business goals.
- Other related duties as assigned.

**Who you are**:

- **Experience - **Background in marketing, communications, or public relations preferred.
- **Education - **Currently enrolled in (or recently graduated from) post-secondary education in marketing, advertising, public relations or business administration. Education in real estate an asset.
- **Communications Skills** - Excellent communication skills. Strong writing skills, with the ability to write and edit varying types of communications.
- **Relationship Skills - **Outstanding relationship building skills. This role requires reaching out to internal and external stakeholders to gather details and confirm information. The role requires a strong collaborator who contributes to a friendly team atmosphere where everyone assists others as needed to meet deadlines.
- **Organizational/Multi-Task Skills** **- **Ability to allocate one’s time effectively, work under pressure and manage tight deadlines; ability to achieve quality results; ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities, and adapt to new ideas and constant changes.
- **Computer Skills - **Advanced skills in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
- **Police Clearance **- A criminal verification check is required for employment.
