**POSITION: Educational Assistant
- Killam Public School**

**LOCATION**: Killam, Alberta

There is a need for an Educational Assistant to provide assistance in elementary classrooms. This position is 6 hours per day - five days per week and will commence January 31, 2023.

**Preference will be given to applicants with**:

- An Educational Assistant certificate, and/or experience working as an Educational Assistant
- Training and/or experience in working with students with special needs is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as a team member with classroom teachers under the supervision of school administrators
- Experience in assisting with the implementation of Individual Program Plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence and patience
- A proven ability to work as a team member
- Be open minded and willing to learn
- CPR/First Aid
