Duties will include:

- Preparing documents for sale, purchase and mortgage transactions
- Preparing Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Personal Directives;
- Answering phones, booking appointments and greeting clients
- Correspondence with clients, lenders, brokers and lawyers

**Skills**:

- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail for proofreading documents

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a legal assistant or in a related field is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary based on experience

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Killam, AB T0B 2L0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- legal assistant: 1 year (preferred)
