**Position Description**

We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a tech savvy and customer focused IT Support Technician to support out IT Department. The focus of the role is multi-tier in scope ensuring technical support is provided to all internal users and aid in protocol role outs.

**Position Responsibilities**
- Respond to internal inquiries and analyze technical issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Triage, prioritize, and resolve IT issues/tickets.
- Escalate IT concerns to the IT Manager.
- Document, update, and follow up on IT tickets as required.
- Manage and maintain inventory of all IT assets.
- Administer MDM Clients.
- Update and maintain Active Directory information.
- Gather network information from remote sites to assist in Network standardization
- Support IT Operations and Infrastructure, which includes AWS, internal networks, phones systems, security & compliance
- Work with 3rd party IT to complete network upgrades
- Other duties and projects may be assigned.

**Qualifications**
- 3 - 5 years experience in a technical support, customer service or help desk environment.
- Familiarity with networking devices such as Meraki firewalls, Ubiquiti switches etc.
- A+ Certification is required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365.
- Completion of related Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree, i.e. IT Systems Management, IT Networking, etc.
- Excellent customer service.
- Microsoft Certification is considered an asset.
- Requires occasional overnight travel
