**Job Summary**
- Dalhousie University’s Office of Advancement is responsible for all fundraising and alumni engagement activities at the institution. A growing team of over 100 professionals cultivates relationships with alumni and friends of the university and works with donors to help them achieve personal fulfilment through philanthropic investment.. Dalhousie donors commit in aggregate over $50 million each year in the interest of supporting student success, scientific research, and community impact. The Advancement Platform Training & Adoption Coordinator will help to make a meaningful impact on social, economic, and intellectual advancement with the Atlantic Region, Canada, and beyond. Reporting to the Manager, Advancement Applications, this position will lead the evaluation, development, and implementation of training, adoption, and change management activities pertaining to Advancement’s core systems.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Promote end-user engagement and system adoption in the Office of Advancement and potentially among other Dalhousie users doing Advancement work.
- Identify training needs and opportunities and deliver, coordinate, or otherwise arrange for appropriate training and documentation for Advancement and related staff.
- Provide expertise and strategic insight and recommendations in selection or creation of training aids, including training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, and computer tutorials; implement maintenance strategy for training resources.
- Facilitate the development and improvement of business processes that have a heavy CRM change component, in support of the Advancement mandate to deliver growth in financial support, alignment of support with the institutional mission, and strong return on investment in Advancement.
- Support a results-oriented team by facilitating prioritization of projects, tracking progress on the achievement of project deliverables, and advising project leads on the use of leading project management tools and methods.
- Develop skills in change management, business process improvement and project management, keeping current with developments in technology, engagement, and fundraising in the higher education sector, and effectively share this knowledge with others.

**Note**
The successful applicant will be eligible for hybrid work (combination of in-person work on campus and remote work) as agreed by all parties based on operational requirements and university guidelines.

**Required Qualifications**
- Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business Administration, Information Management, or Adult Education (or equivalent combination of training and experience).
- Direct experience working with and training staff on a complex CRM/ERP system in a medium
- to large-sized organization is required, as is experience with the design and delivery of practical and engaging training programs and resources.
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office and software and technology related to facilitation, training and development.
- Advanced interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to work with and influence a wide variety of audiences.

**Assets**
- Certification or equivalent experience in business analysis, Lean 6 Sigma, or other process development methodologies and change management methodologies is preferred.
- Training in Adult Learning Principles, Education, or Instructional/Educational Technology.
- PMP or equivalent certification or experience in project management in a large organization.
