Ottawa, Canada Senate of Canada Full time

About the Senate
The Senate plays a unique role in shaping our country’s democracy. As members of the upper house of Parliament, senators examine legislation, study public policy, champion causes and conduct interparliamentary diplomacy.

As a workplace, the Senate is composed of dynamic people representing our nation’s diverse talents, backgrounds and perspectives. We are committed to building and maintaining a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone is provided full and equal opportunity and access to employment, development and advancement. Build and advance your career by joining a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to excellence in support of senators and the institution.
How will you contribute?
Are you someone who has a passion for working in a live broadcasting environment? Do you excel at troubleshooting and working under pressure? Do you have strong attention to detail? Do you thrive on creating quality video productions? Do you want to be part of a dynamic team who ensures activities at the Senate are broadcast to Canadians? If so, this is the job for you

We are looking for a self-motivated broadcasting coordinator with strong attention to detail and organizational skills to support the functions of the Senate Recording Centre - the hub for all Senate broadcasting and recording activities. You will bring live broadcasting experience (effectively communicating with a team, troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment) and quality assurance knowledge (identifying technical issues) to ensure the delivery of broadcasting excellence. When not supporting the broadcasting of events, you will support the production of audio and video products in the Senate studio and the development of creative social media content.
