Bookkeeper/administrative Assistant

Novy Manufacturing has an opening for an Bookkeeper/ Administrative Assistant. This is a full-time position on days (Monday to Friday 8:00am-4:30pm). We offer full benefits, competitive wages and a yearly bonus
This role requires applicants to be in both the office and shop throughout the day. Safety shoes are required.
**Qualifications**:
- Detail oriented individual with superior organizational skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
- High level of attention to detail and accurate recording
- Experience/ knowledge in bookkeeping, Sage50 and accounting principles is an asset
- Willingness to continuously learn and grow within the company
- Positive attitude; reliable & willing to help others
- Team player, flexible and problem solver
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Record, track records in Sage50 and ERP software
- Enter and maintain internal data base and generate reports from in-house system
- Coordinate and collaborate with other staff to help complete the administrative requirements to get tasks completed
- Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of the information
- Organizing, scanning, filing, and other administrative duties when necessary.
- Helping prepare and pack parts
- Local deliveries
- Some light housekeeping

**Experience**:
- Administrative: 1 year (preferred)
- Bookkeeping/Accounting: 1 year (preferred)

- Driver's License (preferred)
