CanAm Currency is currently seeking an Accounting Manager to join its team in Windsor Ontario. On a day-to-day basis, you will provide timely financial reporting and insight into the business operations. This position is well-suited for an ambitious, hands-on, knowledgeable, and articulate accounting professional You are highly flexible, task oriented and dynamic professional. You will be part of a growing team and will be solely responsible for providing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. This is a hands-on role that will be heavily involved in the day-to-day
transactional accounting tasks and ensuring accuracy of the financial information.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for daily journal entries into general ledger
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and Annual Financial Statements
- Forecasting and budgeting financial statements
- Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions
- Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system
- Maintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers
- Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions
- Execute advanced problem-solving skills to investigate all suspicious EFT transactions and activity to reduce risk for CanAm Currency Exchange
- Ensure ACH transfers, incoming and outgoing wires, electronic items, and other EFT (Electronic Funds Transfers) transactions are processed
- Maintain knowledge of and carry out applicable regulations, policies, and procedures
- Ensure CanAm Currency policies and procedures are compliant with applicable regulations through regular review
- Actively participate in project work, including but not limited to, ideation, project tasks, testing, training, and communication plans

**Job requirements**:

- College or university degree
- Two years accounting related experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- Windsor, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
