As a registered charity dedicated to supporting, educating, and reaching out to those affected by HIV and Hepatitis C Virus, we are on a mission to make a difference in Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent counties.

Since 1988, we've been the driving force behind positive change in our community. Formerly known as The AIDS Committee of Windsor, we've transformed into Pozitive Pathways - an organization that's as dynamic and evolving as the needs of our community. Our exceptional staff, dedicated peers, and enthusiastic volunteers are the heart and soul of our Support Service and Needle Syringe programs. We're not just about support; we're about prevention education, outreach, and bridging gaps in understanding.
Location: Full Time - Windsor, Ontario
What You'll Be Doing:
Reporting to the Executive Director, in this pivotal role, you'll be at the helm of our financial and operational groups. Collaborating closely with our Executive Director, you'll analyze financial data, turning it into insights that propel us forward. Budgets, long-term financial plans, compliance – you'll make it all look like a finely orchestrated symphony. Your expertise will drive decision-making, enabling us to deliver even greater impact.
What We're Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred)
- Experience: Ten years in financial management, with a proven track record
- Expertise: You're well-versed in accounting systems, budgets, internal controls, and business planning
- Diversity Champion: Understanding of Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity work? That's a bonus
- Innovator: You're a pro at devising and implementing new financial policies for efficiency
- Leadership: Your leadership style is a mix of formal and informal, setting new standards
- Collaborator: You’re a team player, ensuring financial alignment across departments
