Wedding & Events Manager

**Position Summary**

Working closely with the Director of Food & Beverage as well as with the Executive Culinary Team, the Wedding & Events Manager is responsible for communicating the vision of the client to the rest of the Copper Creek staff so that the execution of events is flawless.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Co-ordinate all aspects of catering events, from initial inquiry to post event follow-up
- Understand significance of responding to event inquiries within a maximum 24-hour time period
- Conduct in-person venue tours
- Work closely with GM to prepare and present proposals, quotes and contracts to clients
- Manage sales office team effectively.
- Foster and maintain strong working relationships with Wedding Planners and Preferred Vendors
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and preferences
- Liaise with culinary and front of house teams to ensure efficient execution of catering orders
- Liaise with in-house audio-visual team
- Manage event timelines, logistics, and on-site coordination to guarantee a flawless guest experience
- Maintain accurate records of client communications, contracts, billing information
- Work with accounting manager to ensure payments are up to date
- Uphold high standards of service and presentation and professionalism
- Administrative tasks including weekly and daily reports, daily distribution of BEOs & changelogs, office supplies and repairs
- Have flexibility in weekly schedule to accommodate client meeting requests.
- Show willingness to accept other duties and assist in the execution of events when absolutely needed

**Qualifications and Experience**
- 5+ years of sales and event experience for a premium venue
- Diploma or degree in event management, business administration, or a related field
- Excellent attention to detail, organized, and strong communicator
- Exceptional hospitality and relationship management skills
- Proven track record of exceeding client expectations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
