We are currently looking to fill the position of** Technology Planning Manager** supporting the Information Technology Infrastructure and Corporate Productivity portfolios.

**Opportunity**:

- As a Technology Planning Manager (TPM) you’ll be the primary owner of relationships that enable the success of the company through effective, creative, and innovative leadership in IT initiatives. The TPM takes a lead role in enabling the business to achieve its objectives through the effective use of technology. Having overall responsibility as the main point of contact relating to technology investment planning, the TPM will be active in business technology strategy development, solution discovery and advancement, and relationship management. Their work will be focused on strategic planning and initiative advancement through the early stages of project evaluation and investment governance.
- Build relationships with Business Portfolio Management Teams. Become part of initiative and business planning, with a focus on identifying high-level business needs and improving business processes through the effective selection and use of technology. Collaborate to ensure the technology investment opportunities are well defined, vetted, prioritized, and have clear business value statements. Integrally involved in solution decisions.
- Identify opportunities for technological solutions to support strategic business vision. Ensure that the design and integration of proposed system, software and hardware solutions leads to the development and growth of the business through effective use of technology.
- Own the technology demand pipeline for the assigned business areas. Responsible for the strategic development and ongoing evolution of associated Technology Roadmaps (18-month and five-year plans) for the assigned Business Partners.
- Guide the advancement of investment opportunities through the early planning, assessment and prioritization stages of technology project delivery and financial approval processes for assigned business area. Provide financial oversight and prepare financial and resource forecasts to enable effective technology delivery and financial planning. Collaborate with business and technology partners to understand the requirements and potential delivery challenges for each initiative. Strategically advocate for initiative prioritization and advancement based on relevant factors.
- Prepare initiatives for handoff from assessment and planning to project delivery, including securing the required technology resources for the next phase of detailed planning.
- Partner with Business leaders to continuously prioritize technology investment opportunities and funding allocation in a dynamically changing business environment. Provide technology guidance to Business Portfolio owners to assist in identifying technology needs and solutions, confirming project prioritization and obtaining funding approval. This position will need to be a trusted technical advisor with the business.

**Experience**:

- In depth knowledge of key infrastructure technologies used in large enterprise IT environments (Network, Firewalls, Compute, Storage, Database, Middleware)
- Knowledge of key technology trends including roles of private and public cloud solutions
- 5 to 10 years of progressive responsibility within information systems or information management/analysis environment and experience leading or guiding large technology refresh initiatives.
- Knowledge of project delivery methodologies, project planning, and project documentation.
- Proficiency in planning, problem solving, and ability to resolve complex issues.
