Edmonton, Canada Spar Construction Ltd. Full time

Spar Construction Ltd is a is a full-service restoration contractor specializing in insurance repair in Edmonton AB (and surrounding areas).

We provide emergency mitigation services specializing in water damage, fire and contents cleaning, mold remediation, complete reconstruction and much more.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Managing and overseeing all activities related to the planning and/or building of a project including estimating, scheduling, contract preparation, negotiation, and management of client needs and expectations.
- Create estimates/costing for projects that meet requirements, that are effective and efficient.
- Create job orders, and file management.
- Perform on-site inspections to identify deficiencies while providing recommendations.
- Quality control for all aspects of the job
- Manage the workflow of emergency service technicians, trades, and sub-contractors to mitigate and restore property damage claims.
- Communicating directly with adjusters, clients/homeowners, and sub-contractors regarding project status reports.
- Observe safety standards and participate in the Company’s efforts to provide a safe work environment. Attend regular safety meetings.
- Participate in training programs as required.
- Able to work flexible hours and On-Call.

**Skills and Knowledge**
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands and deadlines.
- Ability to utilize time management skills to prioritize and complete assignments in a manner that optimizes effectiveness and success.
- Exceptional client relationship skills.
- Knowledge of construction management processes, building products, regulations, and quality standards.
- Knowledge in Xactimate &/or CoreLogic estimating programs
- Competent in conflict and crisis management

**Qualifications**
- Certificate in Project Management or 2-year experience Preferred.
- Criminal Record Check, Valid Alberta Driver’s License, Clean Abstract
- IICRC, First Aid, and Construction Tickets preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edmonton, AB T5M 2Y8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
