We are seeking an accomplished Quality Assurance Manager to join our vibrant team. This role is pivotal in upholding our commitment to delivering pasta products of the utmost quality, safety, and compliance.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Quality Assurance Program Management:

- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality assurance programs that align with industry regulations, including CFIA’s SFCR program, HACCP principles, and GFSI standards.
- Collaborate daily with CFIA to ensure adherence to guidelines, especially given our focus on producing non ready-to-eat products containing meat and cheese.

2. Process Oversight:

- Oversee the entire quality control process, from sourcing raw materials to final pasta product, ensuring each stage meets our stringent quality standards.
- Lead a dedicated team in conducting regular audits, inspections, and tests to identify potential areas for improvement and maintain strict compliance.

3. Training and Development:

- Mentor and guide quality assurance team members, cultivating their skills and knowledge to create a skilled and cohesive team.
- Provide training on quality procedures, regulations, and best practices, enabling team members to excel in their roles.

4. Continuous Improvement:

- Spearhead initiatives aimed at optimizing operational efficiency and product quality, enhancing our reputation in the pasta manufacturing industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative strategies that elevate overall production standards.

5. Regulatory Compliance:

- Ensure adherence to CFIA’s SFCR program, HACCP principles, and eventually GFSI standards, maintaining meticulous records and documentation.
- Serve as the point of contact for any quality-related inquiries, audits, or inspections, demonstrating our commitment to compliance.

6. Research and Development:

- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in quality assurance, incorporating relevant insights into our processes.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or related field.
- Thorough understanding of CFIA’s SFCR program, HACCP principles.
- Previous experience in a QA role within pasta manufacturing or a related sector (min 3-5 Years experience).
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Self-motivated and driven to contribute to Ontario Ravioli's growth and reputation.
