**The opportunity**

We are seeking to fill an Administrative Assistant position that provides operational and administrative support to the Chief Pensions Officer, the Pensions management team, the Pensions division, and the Investments division. We encourage all those with administrative experience and a desire to learn and develop within a collaborative team environment to apply.

The Administrative Assistant performs a wide range of administrative duties including the coordination and logistics of divisional communications, provides clerical assistance in support of front-line service teams, organizes internal and external meetings, manages expense reimbursements and budget inputs, and books travel arrangements. In addition, the Administrative Assistant produces Pension Plan Trustee reports, assists with the onboarding of new employers and with plans transitioning to the Public Service Superannuation Plan.

**What you need to be successful**
- Diploma or certificate in Office or Business Administration with a minimum of two years of administrative experience, or an acceptable equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, multi-task time sensitive issues, manage time efficiently and adhere to deadlines.
- Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with all levels of the organization and external members, including employers, trustees, actuaries, lawyers, and vendors.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential issues with professionalism.
- Intermediate to advanced level of competency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook is required.
