**Research Trainee**:
**Main Functions**:
Specific tasks associated with this position include, but are not limited to:

- Conduct various R&D activities;
- Conduct fermentation activities in the process lab;
- Operate multiple high-tech equipment’s: bioreactor, separator, spray-dryer, fluidized bed dryer, filter-press, extruder, freeze-dryer and more;
- Analyze and report fermentation/experiment results in written or oral format;
- Conduct a variety of lab QC analyses and technical procedures when required;
- Keep a clean and safe environment in the lab.

**Technical skills**:
Required
- Technical or BSc degree in Laboratory technique, Biotechnology, Biology, Microbiology, Chemical or Biotechnical Engineering or any relevant discipline
- Relevant laboratory experience, in school or in internships
- Good communication skill
- Relevant computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc)

An asset
- Experience in yeast fermentation and processing
- Mechanical aptitude and trouble-shooting skills
- Bilingual (English & French)
