Position Summary:
As a postdoctoral researcher you will be become an integral member of the interprofessional team co-leading the creation of the Knowledge Mobilization Hub of

ACCESS

(Advancing Childhood Cancer Experience, Science & Survivorship). ACCESS is supported by CIHR. Our mission is to ensure every child with cancer in Canada has equitable access to the latest scientific advances, diagnostic tools, therapies and supporting care leading to better health outcomes and improved quality of life. You will be supervised by Argerie Tsimicalis, RN, PhD (McGill) and closely supported by Michel Duval, M.D. (CHU Sainte Justine), and Patients with Lived Experience Co-Leads.

You will join the national committee of the Knowledge Mobilization Hub, comprised of varying key stakeholders including scientists, clinicians, decision-makers, and patients and families with lived experience, who represent varying _access_ themes. As part of your training in the first year, you will draft and the conduct a study to describe, prioritize and support the knowledge mobilization needs of _access_. Further, you will aid in the supervision of trainees who will conduct a series of knowledge syntheses and environment scans to understand the knowledge mobilization needs of the childhood cancer community locally and globally, along with other childhood groups with varying health conditions in Canada.

Towards the end of the first year, you will contribute to the creation of varying knowledge mobilization strategies and materials to support the

ACCESS

community, which will continue in the second year of training. This work will be based on the findings, ranked priorities, and input from the national committee. Altogether, these findings will inform the creation of a strategic plan for mobilizing the knowledge of the childhood cancer community. All of the proposed training will be participatory and collaborative in nature, requiring soliciting input, generating consensus, and making decisions in partnership with varying key stakeholders.

Qualifications:
Have completed a PhD, or in the final stages of doctoral defense.

Thrive working in collaborative environments with diverse colleagues from different backgrounds including vulnerable populations (e.g. children with medically complex situations, adolescents and young with cancer, and underrepresented and marginalized communities)

Have excellent oral and written communication skills (English and French) and other languages (asset)

Demonstrated a strong track record of the receipt of competitive awards, publications in high quality peer-reviewed journals and contributions to conferences, and novel knowledge mobilization products, events or networks

Showcased ability to engage and influence a community (in person and/or virtually)

Self-directed and motivated with the ability to work independently and interdependently, paying attention to details, relations, and time.

**Salary**: 55K plus benefits
