Emergency preparedness is a critical aspect of CCH operations. It is essential that all staff and physicians receive training and undertand their roles and responsibilities in this field.

**Summary of responsibilities**:
As an integral member of CCH Health Information Services, the Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst contributes to the departmental goal of providing timely access to complete and accurate health information. The BI Analyst works closely with the Decision Support Analysts to provide comprehensive, robust reports to other members of the CCH team. The BI Analyst will design and build informative visualizations and dashboards in order to support informed decision making and meet the information needs of the organization. The BI Analyst will work with the databases, warehouses, big data languages and business intelligence solutions available to maximize the utility of the existing data.

**Requirements of the job**:

- Undergraduate degree in an analytical or technical field combined with 1-3 years of experience in an analytic role (previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred)
- Demonstrated experience with SQL programming and a solid understanding of databases and proficiency writing SQL procedures and queries
- Demonstrated experience with analyzing data and determining/implementing data enrichment or aggregation techniques
- Demonstrated ability to work accurately under pressure
- Ability to work with members of a multi-disciplinary team including the ability to communicate with professional and Medical Staff
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Experience with Big Data tools and languages such as Spark, Python, Kafka
- Results oriented work ethic to work independently and deliver quality, consistent and timely results
- Demonstrated regular, punctual attendance
- Functional proficiency in English (oral and written)
