- ** Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a restaurant, bar, cafeteria or other food or beverage service**:

- ** Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures**:

- ** Recruit staff and oversee staff training**:

- ** Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance**:

- ** Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices**:

- ** Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed**:

- ** Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies**:

- ** Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering or use of facilities for banquets or receptions**

**Requirements**:
**Education: Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management or a minimum of one years' experience in a food and beverage supervisory role.**

**Experience**:Responsible beverage service certification required. Experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required.**

**Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling**

**Salary: $22.00 hourly, 40.00 hours per week.**

**Important Information**:
**The position requires flexibility in scheduling based on business needs. Shiftwork weekend availability is a must.**

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Several years of experience in food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is usually required.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team effectively
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Keen eye for detail, innovative and interested in creating a 5-star experience
