This position will be focused on partnership and growth for our Buildings Team. This position requires a detail-oriented individual, with a background in marketing, communications, and writing, and be a leader and team player who can own the pursuit process, communicate effectively, manage multiple concurrent initiatives, and thrive in a deadline-driven environment.

**Your Key Responsibilities**
- Plan, organize, and direct all elements of the RFQ/RFP process, including pre-positioning, go/no go discussions, proposal response (analyze information requested, develop response plan and schedule, coordinate teaming, conduct quality control reviews, developing and preparing the final proposal package, and coordinating production and submission), interview and debrief), interview preparation, and debrief.
- Work with key business development leaders to prepare engaging and high impact pursuit and promotional materials that highlight our depth of experience and expertise.
- Support the Account Management team to drive key client growth strategies, including research, pre-positioning, and recurring touch points with the account management teams.
- Collaborate with our Public Relations and Digital Marketing team on key pursuits, promotional activities, and positioning campaigns.
- Storytelling in support of positioning and brand reputation, with a focus on thought leaders, key accounts, market trends, award submissions, conference abstracts, etc.
- Help in maintaining Stantec’s internal systems for information management related to people and projects, pursuits, and promotional activity.
- Manage varying competing priorities, while maintaining positive working relationships with your Buildings business leadership, practitioners, and marketing team.

**Qualifications**

**Your Capabilities and Credentials**
- Demonstrated experience developing responses to detailed RFPs, with a diligent and detailed-oriented approach to prioritization and organization.
- An experienced writer with a passion for developing tailored, engaging proposal material, with overall ownership of the final written and graphic content.
- Proficiency in business development and strategic planning, capacity to think outside the box while adapting to changes in market trends.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, or other desktop publishing programs.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills, with a passion for building trust and fostering solid relationships.
- Ability to work effectively within a group, as well as independently, and enjoy working with different personality styles and management levels, both in person and across geographies.
- Must thrive working in a deadline-driven environment.

**Education and Experience**
- Post-secondary degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or an equivalent level of experience.
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in marketing and/or business development within the A/E/C industry
- Direct involvement with and knowledge of Federal sector would be an asset.
