pH7 is seeking a skilled and adaptable Project EIT to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. As a Project EIT with us, you will be a key player in delivering engineering projects internally. Additionally, you will be accountable for accurately reporting progress and maintaining a safe work environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Support capital projects through the entire project life cycle, starting from requirements gathering to detailed design and procurement.
- Manage a project portfolio with internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as a point of contact for equipment vendors.
- Provide project management for minor projects such as plant upgrades.
- Provide process engineering support for capital projects.
- Compile and interpret engineering data from various sources and integrate into the project design.
- Integrate process safety into plant design and operation.
- Other engineering support as necessary.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from an accredited university
- Registered or eligible for registration as an EIT with EGBC
- 2 years of work experience in engineering design for chemical processing plants
- Knowledge of relevant design codes and standards
- Experience in operating commercial and/or pilot scale plants a definite plus
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to rapidly change focus and manage priorities effectively
- Ability to work full time at our offices in Burnaby, BC
- Background Check will be performed for all new hires to the pH7 Technologies Team
- Must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or have an existing Work Permit and/or Visa
