Viral Nation is hiring a **Creative** **Sports Strategist (Business Development) to report to the Head of Strategy.** The Creative Sports Strategist will work with top global clients with a core focus on influencer and social marketing campaigns. This role will take ownership of strategic ideation while partnering with our accounts, creative, and sales teams to bring the strategic vision to life. The incumbent's role will focus extensively on the development of creative strategies for RFPs for a wide range of clients globally. The incumbent should be able to provide real-time insights and data, and a passion for knowledge when it comes to content, technology, and social media psychology. You must be driven to go above and beyond for the client and possess a strong creative and collaborative drive for the job. The ideal incumbent has agency or brand experience leading creative and strategic thinking within the sports category and for the world's top sports brands.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the Head of Strategy and greater BD Strategy teams to develop integrated strategies for top global clients, with a core focus on influencer and social marketing campaigns
- Lead strategic ideation sessions and partner with accounts, creative, and sales teams to bring the strategic vision to life
Must have experience developing creative strategies for RFP and pitches from ideation to presentation for a wide range of sports clients globally
- Take ownership of developing creative strategies for RFPs using a variety of various tools
- Provide real-time insights and data, and a passion for knowledge when it comes to content, technology, and social media psychology
- Work closely with the accounts and creative teams to ensure that the campaign vision is communicated effectively and that the campaign is executed flawlessly
- Develop engaging creatives that show how we can bring these campaigns to life in the age of the attention economy
- Identify areas of efficiencies within the team and department and work collaboratively to build strong partnerships with client service, performance marketing, and creative teams
- Accurately interpret incoming RFPs and disseminate the necessary tasks to the team
- Continuously look for ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the team's work

QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience working in a wide-range of industries pertaining to social, influencer, performance, creative, and other digital strategy campaigns (Omni-channel strategy experience)
- Agency experience and influencer marketing experience is an asset
- Must be an excellent self-starter, with disciplined time management skills given short turn-around for high-quality client-facing outputs
- Must be able to hunt and find meaningful insights from large data pools, conducting quantitative and qualitative research, interpreting and
- distilling data to actionable insights from credible industry resources
- Have core foundational knowledge when it comes to social/influencer marketing, social media trends, and technology
- Strong knowledge & understanding of the global B2C Sports marketing landscape in the marketplace
- Must have excellent presentations skills with superior, engaging, and effective communication
- Possess a commanding presence with senior clients, partner agencies, and colleagues alike
- Must have experience developing creative strategies for RFP and pitches
- You have coordinated multiple strategic campaigns and brands across internal teams, client teams, and partner agencies
- You are proficient with Google Drive software (Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides)
- You must have advanced written, oral communication, and presentations skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
