**RATE OF PAY**:Range - 20$ - 22$ per hour

**HOURS**: Monday - Friday (occasional weekends)

**Position Summary**:
Start Me Up Niagara’s Mobile Closet is a charitable service which provides free clothing, footwear and hygiene throughout Niagara to those who are dealing with financial insecurity or are unsheltered. Free shopping events are hosted by community partners and take place at pre-arranged locations. In addition, there are 19 Mini Closets throughout Niagara which addresses the need for direct access to clothing for those experiencing a clothing crisis. This project ensures clothing is more accessible where it is immediately needed by frontline workers.

**Responsibilities**:
The Assistant NMC Program Coordinator will perform duties as assigned by the NMC Program Coordinator, including but to limited to:

- Administrative tasks, scheduling of events and volunteers as well as donor drop-offs, information, and projects in liaison with the NMC Program Coordinator
- Perform research, specifically to program relevance as requested
- Attend meetings when required
- Liaise with external partners as requested always aligning the program at the forefront
- Assist volunteers with duties as needed

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in a related field
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or as a team member
- An understanding and respect for those utilizing our program in the community
- Ability to work with program volunteers in a kind and respectful manner
- Sufficient computer skills to utilize Outlook, Word, and Excel & Google Docs
- Ability to follow Joint Health and Safety regulations of Start Me Up Niagara

- High degree of integrity and professionalism
