**Service & Maintenance Supervisor**

A day in the life of a **Service & Maintenance Supervisor** is full of variety and countless ways to demonstrate your self-starter attitude — both around our main 100-acre property and at offsite growing locations.

Your morning begins with some administrative tasks to keep your team organized and the site operating smoothly. With payroll hours approved and the on-call schedule built, you lead the team huddle, sharing each other’s tasks for the day and keeping you all on the same page.

After the meeting, you head out to diagnose and repair a faulty injection pump. As you perform your checks to determine the issue, you use your well-rounded technical skills and methodical approach to solve the problems that arise.

Just as you finish up, you receive an urgent call: there’s a breakdown on the planting line. You respond by checking in with your team to see who is available to get the planting team back up and running, and assign the task to a technician via the Limble app.

In your weekly one-on-one meeting with a team member, you enjoy a coffee and recap wins, challenges, and priorities for the week. Then it’s back to problem-solving as your cellphone lights up with service request tickets: the climate control hardware needs attention in the main greenhouse, and a tractor is out of commission. Each request presents a different set of challenges, especially when you need to drive to an offsite location without your full toolbox.

Throughout the day, you’ve balanced handling unexpected repairs, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring your team is on track. And you’re ready to continue keeping operations running smoothly tomorrow

**Job Summary**:
As a Service & Maintenance Team Supervisor, you’ll oversee and supervise the Maintenance Team. You’ll work closely in a fast-paced environment installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing a variety of stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment and buildings. It’s essential to be able to function well in a team setting. On-the-job training is provided for our specialized equipment.

**What We Need From You**:

- Valid BC class 5 driver’s license
- Completion of secondary education
- Journeyman trade certificate in relevant trade or working toward certification
- Work experience in the greenhouse industry is an asset
- In-depth network and security system knowledge is an asset
- Leadership experience is an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer literacy skills; experience with Google G Suite and Microsoft Office is an asset
- Utilize strong interpersonal skills and effective communication, both oral and written

**Your Duties Will Include**:
Leading daily maintenance huddles, weekly meetings with direct reports, and attending weekly meetings with the CEO

Reviewing, prioritizing, and assigning repair requests to team members appropriately

Ensuring satisfactory completion of routine daily inspections on the water room and boiler room, including but not limited to:

- Checking for error codes in fog system, ECA system, chlorine pumps, and boilers
- Ensuring proper functioning of filters on boilers and water pumps

Ensuring appropriate maintenance is being completed across all sites, including but not limited to:

- Scheduling annual boiler and generator maintenance
- Scheduling vendors or equipment manufacturer repairs as needed
- Maintaining adequate inventory levels of critical components
- Maintaining vehicles such as tractors, forklifts, golf carts, passenger vehicles, and other equipment
- Digitally recording equipment maintenance and service history

Maintenance team administration
- Ensuring safe work practices are followed at all times
- Providing training and mentorship to Service & Maintenance Technicians (SMT)
- Setting expectations, providing support, and following up on daily tasks of SMT
