**PROFILE SUMMARY**
Application Specialist of GN Corporations Inc. oversees programming, selecting tools, preparing set up sheets, setting up and feed back to Product development specialist (PDS) for post-production meeting of all new products.
This position shall report on evaluating the performance effectiveness of the implemented system.
**SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS**
As part of a key member of the technology team Application Engineering Specialist will play a major role in new product launch. Application Engineering Specialist will interact with all stakeholders of new product launch. GN’s Application Engineering Specialist job description includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Making CNC machining programs using Esprit to meet customer requirements and to have most efficient and most cost-effective processes to produce parts (Using machine tools its fullest capabilities).
- Prepare detailed set up sheets for all programs you make.
- Request tool requirements from tool management team.
- Execute the set up and run few parts until process is stable.
- Fill out “Postproduction Feed Back form” and hand it over to PDS
- Participate in process improvement initiatives where applicable.
- Application Engineering Specialist is responsible for assisting with implementation/upgrade training and development of machinist/trainee machinists.
**INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS PROFICIENCY**:
In addition to GN Corporations Inc. corporate requirements and recommended industry practices, being knowledgeable in the following regulatory and international standards requirements will be an added asset:
- AS9100D (Aerospace)
- ISO 9001:2015 (Quality), I
- ISO 45001:2018 (Health & Safety),
- ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental)
- Controlled Goods Program
**RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**:
- **Industry Standards and Regulations** - Being familiar with all relevant industry standards, recommended practices, and regulations. Monitoring self-compliance with company, industry and government requirements as well as promoting their acceptance in all aspects of GN’s business-related activities.
**MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS**
- CNC Journeyman - Red or Blue seal preferred, or minimum 5 years of experience setting up multitasking machine
- Able to do CNC programs with Esprit to use the assets to its heist capabilities preferred
- Experience in making Solid models
- Machinist Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with peers and management team.
