**Job Summary**:
FPH Group, an Allied Motion Company, is a manufacturer of highly engineered products, primarily supplying the defense industry. We look to provide Design Solutions to some of the more complex challenges our customers face.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipper/Receiver to join our team. As a Shipper/Receiver, you will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving of products in our warehouse. This is a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain. This role enjoys a 8am - 4:30pm schedule Mon
- Fri.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Rate, Book ,Trace LTL freight on all loads for USA and Canada
- Handle all requests for quotes, rating and follow up to secure loads.
- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
- Prepare Bill of ladings
- Coordinate USA line haul and local picks based on existing loads and consolidating with new ones.
- Collaborate and offer assistance to team members.
- Monitor and coordinate all Daily pickups and deliveries, ensure correct paperwork to dock staff for loading of all units and delivery schedules, update all customers on load status.
- Responsible for all cost analysis, rating, and collection of all associated documentation to finalize load process
- Must be knowledgeable with all customs/brokerage process and regulations.
- Assisting with Receiving incoming material (follow all internal process)
- Enter Received product in P21
- Ensure products and work methods maximize safety, productivity, and comfort.
- Request and follow up on missing documentation and information from internal team, freight forwarders and agencies
- Compile worksheets and specifications of orders
- Perform daily inspections of equipment and complete pre-op reports
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse
- Unload and load shipments manually and/or with the use of fork truck
- Prepare and submit reports.
- Time management skills to serve several customers at the same time and ability to react to quickly changing requirements
- Follow regulations and policies as outlined in company’s employee handbook
- Follow requirements as required by ISO registration
- Follow requirements as required by Controlled Goods Registration and other defense sector registrations (ie ITAR, etc.)
- In accordance with the health & safety policy, follow and exceed the legislative requirements outlined in the Occupational Health & Safety Act in order to provide a safe & healthy workplace for all employees.
- Other duties or projects as assigned

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
- Secondary School Graduate
- Must be a Canadian citizen or PR holder
- Must be able to successfully pass a controlled goods security assessment
- Minimum of 2 years of LTL dispatch or Logistics experience
- Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization.
- Impeccable Attention to Detail for both written and oral communications.
- Strong ability to work with numbers and calculations.
- Ability to multitask and work independent or in a team environment.
- Excellent time management, organizational and planning skills
- Computer literacy
- Able to use UPS/Purolator and FedEx systems.
- Able to create BOL
- Knowledge of cross border dispatching regulations and practice
- Ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints, schematics and part lists
- Knowledge and experience in shipping and receiving methods and techniques
- Able to resolve work related problems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Productivity Suite
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Valid Forklift License
- Able to work in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment demonstrating excellent organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrate initiative, reliability and positive team attitude

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
