Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our team. The MOA will be responsible for performing various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the medical office. This is a vital role in our healthcare facility, as the MOA will be the first point of contact for patients and will assist with scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and providing exceptional customer servies

Duties
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar
- Collect patient information and update electronic medical records
- Verify insurance information and obtain necessary authorizations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient care

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in using electronic medical record systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong customer service skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Basic knowledge of billing and coding processes
