**Job Summary**:
**Work Term: Summer 2025 (May - August)**:

Our program is designed to identify and develop potential full-time employees.

**Human Resources**:
Students will assist with tasks including but not limited to the following:
**Stream 1 - Recruiting and Staffing (All locations)**:

- Administering psychological/written tests;
- Preparing and/or formatting documents such as letters of offer, transmittal slips, staffing transaction reports, assessment material, result letters and other correspondence;
- Entering and updating information in the Human Resources Management System and SharePoint;
- Preparing requisitions for various internal services;
- Maintaining hardcopy/electronic files;
- Contributing to a variety of projects, including reviewing and updating procedures and sharing best practices with team members.

**Stream 2 - Talent Management (Ottawa only)**:

- Contribute to a variety of projects in Performance Management, Talent Management and Succession Planning;
- Entering information and review of Performance Evaluation Reports;
- Assist in the coordination of national programs such as Mentoring and Coaching;
- Assist in the planning of events such as executive workshops;
- Help draft documentation to promote various events;
- Prepare documents for staffing executives’ positions for Management’s approval and dissemination.

Based on applicants’ experience and interest, other similar opportunities in an HR related field may be available.

**Education**:
Registered full time in a College Diploma or Undergraduate degree programs including, but not limited to:

- Human Resources
- Labour or Industrial Relations

Applicants must be registered as a full-time, post-secondary student in an accredited academic institution recognized in Canada during their work term. Special consideration may be given to those enrolled in an accredited co-op/internship program.

**Experience**:
Experience may have been acquired through formal and informal settings (e.g. school, volunteer work experience or projects)
- Experience in human resources or administration (for example in administrative support functions where planning, organizing and coordinating actions/activities are required).
