**What we seek**:
OCHC is currently seeking a dedicated Human Resources** **Student Assistant to join and provide support to the People and Culture team. Under the guidance of the Senior Manager, Total Rewards and HR Programs, the Human Resources** **Student Assistant will support a wide range of Human Resources, Compensation and Benefits, Wellness, Disability Management, and Health and Safety activities and initiatives.

**Human Resources Student Assistant with OCHC**:_ _

Adapting internal systems to innovate and grow is a main strategic priority at our organization. As the Human Resources** **Student Assistant, **you will **be an essential part of our objective **by conducting research to assist in the **development of new policies and procedures related to human resources, disability management and health and safety.**

**As a Human Resources Student Assistant, some of the things you will do include**:

- Assist with the administrative tasks related to Human Resources such as filing and tracking of initiatives and programs.
- Support the coordination of various employee events, training, workshops, and seminars.
- Provide general support to the Human Resources team.
- Assist with the recruitment and selection process by scheduling interviews, assisting in the interview creation, and preparing interview packages.

**What you bring**:
**Education & Experience**:

- Completed a minimum of two (2) years of a Commerce or Business undergraduate degree with a focus in Human Resources.
- Knowledge of Human Resources practices and theories.
- Excellent research, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced abilities with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Previous experience in an office environment is an asset.

**Skills and abilities**:

- Ability to work well independently and to complete projects and tasks in a timely manner.
- Must possess exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Oral fluency, reading and writing abilities in English are essential.
- Oral, reading and written fluency in French is an asset.

**Other requirements**:

- Eligible to work in Canada.
- Must be between 15-30 years of age.
- Satisfactory Criminal Records Check

**Work conditions**:
This is a full-time (35 hours per week) hybrid position with on-site attendance as required.
