Are you a versatile administrative pro with a flair for program support and technical troubleshooting? **Join us as our new Flexible Delivery Support Services Specialist**

Reporting to the Manager of Programs and the Unit Head, this position is responsible for a range of administrative and program support duties which require a diversity of skills, knowledge and abilities.

**What You’ll Do**:
**1. Main point of contact for providing support services relating to the Distance and Distributed Learning Committee (**DDLC**)**:

- Organizing meeting dates through executive administrative assistants and faculty assistants
- Writing Letters of Agreement (LOA) for the development of courses receiving grants
- Sending LOAs to Associate Deans and Department Heads from various faculties/departments and to developers for signatures; tracking these
- Managing the records, including submissions, memos, and Letters of Agreement
- Ensuring FOAPALS have been requested for each course going into development
- Communicating with FL’s Instructional Designers (IDs), Assistant IDs, and program Manager
- Tracking course progress and monitoring processes

**2. Main point of contact for **LIVE**-streamed courses and will provide support services relating to **LIVE**-streamed courses to students and staff**:

- Assisting with technical troubleshooting
- Deliver key communications to various internal and external stakeholders
- Performing statistical tasks associated with LIVE-streamed courses
- Audit student registration and monitor waitlists
- Perform updates to scheduling

**3. Responsible for performing regular updates and detailed edits on Student and Instructor guides**:

- Review and revise existing documents ensuring content is consistent in terminology, style, and formatting throughout the document.
- Update and verify the accuracy of information with the appropriate sources.

**4. Work in partnership with Faculty to confirm Final exams and textbooks for Online and **LIVE**-streamed courses**:

- Confirm final exams for online and LIVE-streamed courses each semester
- Audit and confirm textbooks have been ordered for Online and LIVE-streamed courses each semester
- Track and update the progress in Flexible Learning’s internal database

Position Requirements

**What You’ll Bring to this Position**:

- Grade 12 supplemented by the successful completion a recognized business course (Office Administration course or equivalent)
- Minimum of three years’ general office experience showing progressively increasing administrative support responsibilities and directly related to the duties specified
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered

**Skills That Will Ensure Your Success in the Role**:

- Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook-GroupWise) and other complex databases, such as Banner and CASPUR reports.
- Knowledge of the University of Regina community, academic programs, policies, and procedures
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal administrative counterparts, instructors, partners and staff as well as external to CCE and the University
- Ability to take direction
- Ability to show initiative and be self-motivated
- Ability to consistently organize, coordinate and balance multiple competing demands and responsibilities
