We’re looking for a **Finance Coordinator** to join our team. If you are detail-oriented, good with numbers, committed to excellence, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently, we’d like to hear from you
This position is primarily in-person to best support the day-to-day operations of the finance team and foster ongoing learning and growth.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Enter financial transactions in SAP Business One accurately and efficiently.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Review and analyze employee timesheets and labour reports.
- Review monthly employee leave worksheets.
- Compile, review and process expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Assist in cheque runs and manage related documentation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities as needed.
- Support inventory counts and reconciliations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Facilitate positive working relationships with managers and employees across the business.
- Interface with customers and suppliers to resolve financial inquiries.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports as needed.
- Support the Business Operations team with administrative tasks as needed.
- Due to security requirements, must be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada, and will be required to provide a criminal record check as a condition of employment.
- Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
- Exceptional attention to details, with high accuracy and thoroughness in work.
- Advanced MS Office skills (with particular emphasis on Excel).
- High comfort level with computers, with the ability to readily learn new software tools.
- Ability to follow written procedures and checklists with high accuracy.
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems, such as SAP Business One, is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate positive relationships and collaborate with others.
