Caring Touch Health Care Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Support Professional to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply and empty bed pans, maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients
  • Take patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, to monitor their health
  • Serve meal trays and assist patients with feeding, promoting healthy eating habits
  • Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients with care and attention to their needs
  • Deliver messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments, ensuring efficient communication
  • Make beds and maintain patients' rooms, maintaining a clean and comfortable environment
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines, promoting physical activity and mobility
  • Administer suppositories, colonic irrigations, and enemas, following established protocols
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, ensuring we have the necessary resources to provide quality care
  • Bathe, dress, and groom patients, promoting personal hygiene and dignity
  • Transport patients between care facilities, ensuring safe and timely transfers
  • Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher, adapting to their needs
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs, responding promptly and compassionately
  • Collect specimens, following established protocols for handling and storage
  • Prepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving, and sterilizing operative areas, ensuring a safe and sterile environment
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations, providing immediate care and attention
