Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Shop Supervisor. As a Shop Supervisor, you will supervise employees engaged in dispatching our Fence Technicians to dedicated sites. Assists in coordinating and directing the workload of the Service Department for maximum efficiency and productivity while providing quality Fence Installation support.
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Instruct, assist and train Fence technicians in best practices of Fence Installation safely
- Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes
- Work in cooperation with other areas to provide quality, seamless customer service
- Directs Fence technicians and yard staff in daily operations
- Schedules and dispatch technicians to perform installation at customer job site;
- Monitors all Fence supplies, ensuring that all supplies have been properly designated to the account of a customer
- Assists Profit Center Manager and other service leaders in training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving conflicts
- Other duties assigned by manager
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Valid Driver’s license
- Previous supervisory experience
- Previous fence installation experience preferred
- 5+ years of supervisory experience within Rental Industry or similar industry
- Proven customer relations and communications skills
- Basic computer understanding to enter data or information into a terminal or PC
- Proven safety record
The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job. Pay: From $29.55 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
