**Our Marketing Team**

Emulating the size & structure of an agency with approximately 35 team members and counting, our marketing departments mission is to reinvent the way landscapes are designed, built and experienced. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Creative Merchandising Manager will be a part of the Display Architect’s team, a group of creative individuals who design and oversee the build of the merchandising displays for over 700 dealers. In this role you will have the opportunity to work with a creative and dynamic team while providing direction to elevate the brand and enhance the customer journey thru merchandising in distributors tradeshows and Hardscape events across Canada and the United States.

**Project Management responsibilities**:

- Develop the merchandising strategy using sales data and revenue goals and communicate the action plans to the appropriate teams.
- Lead and oversee the design development of all merchandising items.
- Closely collaborate with an in-house display production team that will bring to life all merchandising designs.
- Ensure display and merchandising projects are executed on scope, on time and on budget.
- Manage and update the internal project management system (Teamwork) by leading weekly meetings with the team and it’s individual members to review project progression and address any roadblocks.
- Organize creative design meetings with your team for the different events and merchandising projects.
- Collaborate with different departments (Client Support, Rep. Support, After-Sales, Production, Logistics etc...) to ensure projects successful completion.
- Manage a team of 5 Architects, Designers and Coordinators.
- Contribute strategically on how to best keep projects on schedule and identify process improvements.
- Partner with the sales teams to understand timeline of new store openings and delegate responsibilities to support business expansion and store renovations.
- Track merchandising productions timelines and communicate project status updates to upper management.

**Creative responsibilities**:

- Continuously seek ways to enhance the consumer experience through various merchandising display ideas.
- Coach, train & develop the team of Visual Merchandising specialists.
- Market research and analysis on design and trends.
- Using internal forecasting information and market trends guide the product selection for dealer merchandising.
- Oversee & closely collaborate with the merchandising build team to uphold a high level of quality synonymous with the brand.

**Qualifications**:

- University or College degree in business administration, marketing or communications or in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in project management/coordination; retail merchandising.
