**Eaton’s Electrical sector is currently hiring an Account Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Delta, BC facility and offers benefits from Day 1.**

**The expected annual salary range for this role is** $82,000- $120,000 a year **+ commissions. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.**

**What you’ll do**:
Responsible for the sale and promotion of all Eaton and Tripp Lite Critical Power and Distributed Infrastructure product lines and service offerings; including Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Racks, PDUs, cables, connectivity and peripheral products in Western Canada.
These offerings are supported by direct staff and manufacturer agents and are sold through multiple channels including; distributors, two tier channel partners, engineers/specifiers, and direct. Must have the ability to manage our sales partners as well as drive sales to end
- user customers through value selling of Eaton.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Achieve sales goals and execute sales plans within assigned sales region, through agents, distributors, resellers and direct.
- Work in conjunction with the Regional Sales Manager and national teams to promote a unified front to the customer, drive consistency and process improvement across geographies, share best practices, and drive growth.
- Manage and update sales funnels, reports and regular forecasts.
- Gather and leverage the voice of customer to recommend new or modified programs enabling the competitive position to be maintained in the market.
- Utilize negotiation skills to influence and resolve complex problems, capture value and influence all stakeholders to drive results.

**Qualifications**:
**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Diploma or Degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years sales experience in the Canadian Electrical or IT industries.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
- Valid drivers license

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- University degree in Electrical Engineering or Business degree.
- Minimum 7 years of Sales experience within the Canadian IT Market involving UPS, connectivity, and peripherals.

- Sales Planning skills and follow-through.
- Ability to leverage internal resources to promote customer solutions.
- Strong business acumen with proven sales strategic plan implementation with measurable results.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong team player that actively contributes to the group’s success.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in addition to strong organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
