**Director, Corporate Quality - **30-month Term Position**
**POSITION OVERVIEW**
The primary role of the **Director, Corporate Quality** is to provide leadership, direction and oversight to VNI’s various Plant Operations by championing a culture of food safety, quality systems and integrity to optimize our operations in providing consistent quality products to our customers and that meet all relevant compliance standards.
The Director, Corporate Quality will accomplish the position objectives and key responsibility areas by planning, developing, and overseeing the coordination of all aspects of these functional areas, driving efficiencies and creating a culture of Food Safety and Quality.

- Anticipates emerging issues/changing priorities and develops strategies to address.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
- Relevant degree/diploma. I.E. Undergraduate degree in Food, Dairy Science, Microbiology (Food, Manufacturing).
- 10+ years of progressive quality systems experience in the food manufacturing industry, preferably within a specialty dairy ingredients-food processing environment.
- Strong knowledge of plant QA systems including HACCP and GMP;
- Strong knowledge of environmental pathogen monitoring programs and Canadian regulatory requirements;
- Experience working under a HACCP/ISO 22000/FSSC system and maintaining this system.
- Acceptance of the critical importance of quality assurance in the processing of products.
