Our company operates on a decentralized basis through a number of divisions and subsidiaries: Shaw Brick, Shaw Precast Solutions, Shaw Resources, Clayton Developments Limited, MMH Prestige Homes Inc., Ven-Rez Products Limited, Shaw Lifestyle and Shaw Living.
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Processing orders in our ordering software system, Syspro (training will be provided)
- Invoicing, keeping track of transport fleet and pallet credits
- Quote customers for bulk and packaged products
- Ordering Allied products, monitoring inventory and coordinating customer orders with our sales team
- Working closely with other divisions of The Shaw Group (mainly Shaw Brick) to process combined orders for commercial and retail center clients
- Prioritizing orders by pick up or delivery dates and work with Shaw Transport on scheduling
- Work with production on customer requirements to assist production scheduling
- Managing inventory and keeping the team and customers informed
- Create customs documents for orders crossing the border to the US
- Gathering new data and assisting sales staff
- Updating and managing price lists and communications to sales team and customers
- Perform other duties as required
- The ability to multi-task, prioritize and pay close attention to detail
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- A self-starter and results focused attitude
- The ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Strong ability to accept change and assist in process change management
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Microsoft Access knowledge is an asset)
