SUMMARY

This is a full-time, live-in position that assists with the daily operations of Platts Crossing and surrounding grounds. Reporting to the Building Manager, the Assistant Building Manager will help run daily operations of the building and attend to cleaning, general minor maintenance and resident relations. The Assistant Building Manager will receive support from our passionate and dedicated in-house maintenance, cleaning and landscape team.

DUTIES

Working 5 days a week over weekends, the Assistant Building Manager is one of the first onsite points of contact with residents. The Assistant Building Manager plays a critical role in cleaning common areas and vacant units, completing minor in suite repairs and daily grounds/log checks, and assisting with tenant concerns as well as move-ins and move-outs. As a part of a passionate and courteous team who has tenant needs front and center, you will participate in on-call hours in the evenings and on weekends on a rotating schedule.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 1-3 years of experience in a residential building management/superintendent capacity preferred
- Experience with cleaning and basic residential maintenance preferred
- Proficient with computer and smartphone
- Proficient spoken and written English
- Courteous manners with the public
- Punctual and reliable
- Must be able to work independently of direct supervision
- Criminal background check required (administered and paid for by BlueStone)
- Secondary School Diploma
