SUMMARY

This is a full-time, live-in position that assists with the daily operations of 520 Talbot Street. Reporting to the Building Manager, the Assistant Building Manager will help run daily operations of the building including maintaining positive resident relations and general minor maintenance. The Assistant Building Manager will receive support from our passionate and dedicated in-house maintenance and landscape team.

DUTIES

Working a Friday to Tuesday weekly schedule, the Assistant Building Manager will
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas and units including emptying waste containers and moving bins for city pick up
- Assist with tenant concerns
- Complete minor in-suite repairs
- Assist with move-ins and move-outs
- Participate in on-call hours on weekend and in the evenings on a rotating schedule
- Perform daily grounds check

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 1-3 years of experience in a residential building management/superintendent capacity preferred
- Highly proficient in cleaning, basic residential maintenance, and minor repairs
- Courteous manners with the public and excellent customer service
- Proficient with computer and smartphone
- Proficient spoken and written English
- Punctual and reliable
- Must be able to work independently of direct supervision
- Criminal background check required (administered and paid for by BlueStone)
- Secondary School Diploma
