Job Title: Store Manager - Valhalla Pure Outfitters

**About Us**: Valhalla Pure Outfitters in Vernon is seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Store Manager to lead the daily operations of our store. **Responsibilities**:
**Product Management**:

- Monitor and manage in-store inventory, ordering both in-season and during seasons to maintain current stock levels.
- Manage budgets related to inventory and ensure proper merchandising and design standards.

**People Management**:

- Maintain optimal staffing levels through hiring, retention, and adjustments.
- Train new employees in product knowledge and store procedures.
- Exemplify customer service levels that surpass expectations.

**Customer Relations**:

- Interact with customers professionally and courteously, aligning with the store's core values.
- Develop new customer relationships and address issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Oversee group purchasing to enhance service levels and profitability.

**Procedure Implementation**:

- Understand, follow, and implement store systems.
- Manage administrative duties to ensure adherence to proper procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and national HR regulations.

**Promotion and Community Engagement**:

- Develop the store's presence as the community's premier outdoor store.
- Coordinate marketing activities both in the community and online.

**Requirements**:

- Self-starter with a minimum of 3 years of retail experience.
- Previous retail management experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills and a customer service focus.
- In-depth knowledge of business management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to relate to a diverse customer base and enjoy doing so.
- Passion and drive for both retail and the outdoor industry.
- Demonstrated professionalism within the workplace and the outdoor retail industry.

**Compensation and Benefits**:

- Competitive hourly rate: $28-31 per hour.

**Salary**: $28.00-$31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Ability to Commute:

- Vernon, BC V1T 3R4 (required)

Ability to Relocate:
