As part of Gay Lea’s strategy of providing exceptional service to its shareholders, we are currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of a Member Relations Administrative Assistant.

Reporting to the Manager of Member Relations, the role of the Member Relations Administrative Assistant an integral part of our Member Relations team. The Member Relations Team is responsible for maintaining and expanding all aspects of the ongoing relationships with our shareholders.

As part of Gay Lea’s strategy to provide exceptional service to its membership, we require a full-time Member Relations Administrative Assistant. The Member Relations team is responsible for maintaining and expanding all aspects of the ongoing relationship with our members. The Administrative Assistant will work closely with the Administrative Coordinator and be responsible for various administrative duties related to maintaining database records, monthly reporting, handling member enquiries, managing social media accounts and our members’ website.

The ideal applicant will have the following qualifications and skills:

- A demonstrated ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple, high-priority tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Manage Gay Lea Foods shareholder enquiries with an ability to handle difficult conversations
- Sound judgment in order to maintain and respect member confidentiality guidelines and obligations
- Skilled computer user with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and website maintenance experience
- Experience managing complex databases and their associated processes
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Post-secondary education, preferably in an accounting or agriculture-related program
- Participate in training as required
- Other projects and duties as assigned by Management
- Proof of a valid G Driver’s licence is required, along with a reliable vehicle for regular work travel.

This position offers a competitive salary, mileage & travel reimbursement, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
