As a drop-in program monitor for the Recreation and Culture department, you will assist with the supervision of the Town of Oakville drop-in programs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Arrive at the program site in time to properly prepare for the day's program and start and end the program according to schedule.
- Ensure the continuing safety of all participants while at the program.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and proof of payment from each program participant.
- Create and enforce a positive and respectful environment for those participating.
- Assist with daily set up/clean up of the program site.
- Provide exceptional customer service including assistance for any customers that have questions regarding Town of Oakville programs.
- Notify the supervisor of any problems and/or recommendations regarding participants which may affect the quality of the program.
- Attend and participate in all staff training sessions.
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- A responsible individual independent worker.
- Strong communication skills to deal effectively with staff and public.
- Exceptional Customer Service skills.
- A motivated individual who has a passion and knowledge in program activity.
- Knowledge of Town of Oakville drop-in programs is considered an asset.
- Emergency First Aid with AED, CPR B or Standard First Aid AED/CPR C
