Frontline Supervisor

We are looking to recruit a Frontline Supervisor who brings an understanding of supporting a dynamic team in a busy environment and has an appreciation of the varying needs of the people we serve.

The Frontline Supervisor is a keystone in our team. As a Frontline Supervisor, some of your key duties include: planning and assigning tasks, delegating, monitoring work assignments and staff performance, providing feedback, and ensuring client needs are met. This position ensures proper flow of communication between sites and your supervisor team, and supports follow up with emergency services and others as required. As a Frontline Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the frontline operations and safety of the site throughout your scheduled shift.

We are looking for an individual that has a proven ability to respectfully supervise assigned tasks and to effectively manage a myriad of tasks and decisions that occur on shift. Someone with the philosophy, energy, and leadership skills to collaborate and succeed. You will also bring sound understanding of the support needs of people struggling with low income and complex health and housing needs. This includes experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds who face multiple barriers, such as substance use, mental health concerns, low incomes, and negative impacts of colonialism and racism.

**Qualifications**
- Degree or certificate in the social services field or the equivalent education and experience.
- Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in a similar role which includes experience in:

- Direct oversight of the day-to-day operations of the site.
- Performance evaluation including ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Providing direction and delegation of tasks.
- Supporting community/stakeholder relations.
- Experience supervising in a unionized environment.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.

**Requirements**:

- Emergency First Aid with CPR Level C.
- Complete the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General Criminal Record Check.
- Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clear driver's abstract.

**Job Information**
- **Hourly Wage Rate **$28.39 - $33.06.
- ** Work Location **3020 Blanchard St - The Tower & 710 Queens Ave - Queens Manor.
- ** Work Days **Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
- **Work Time **7:00am to 5:00pm.
- **Weekly Hours**: 40.
